The largest National park in the lower 48 states with its extreme temperatures and all the different landscapes definitely deserves a place in your travel bucket list.
Dante's view which is a part of the Black Mountain, a part of the Armagosa range is one of the best places to catch a sunrise or a sunset in Death Valley. Dante's view being at 5,475 ft it gets very cold and windy especially after sunset so do not forget to take some warm clothes with you. This viewpoint offers amazing panoramic views with Badwater basin to its west side. A 13 mile drive South from CA 190 takes you to Dante's view parking lot.
