Note : Call Lake Piru campground visitor center (805)434-1996 for reserving a spot. There are regular restrooms in the campground that are open 24 hrs.
Do you love the idea of camping but have no clue of how or where to start? Then this one is definitely for you! Even other wise this makes an excellent place for a family camping/picnic place with amenities such as restrooms with hot water, pay and use showers, grill and electric sockets. And you will wake up to the sounds of chirping birds and mooing cows.. Waay better than your typical morning in the city.. Its so pleasant and will make you want to keep going back every weekend. Who wouldn't love that, right!? So go ahead and make reservations for your next camping/picnic there.
They even have nets so you can enjoy a game of badminton or volleyball with your family. Oh and you can see deer hanging out by the net in the night.
That brings us to the trash Pandas aka raccoons that also camp there often. Store your food away from their reach. I hope they enjoyed our marshmallows and buns; hopefully they didn't try to eat the plastic spoons.
These campsites even have hot water, pay and use showers, checkout the gallery for rates and take plenty of quarters with you. The spots are big enough for RVs too. If you are planning to use the electric sockets make sure you ask for them specifically.
