Note : Death valley gets pretty hot in summer so carry plenty of water with you.  No dogs or bikes allowed on this trail. Be aware of rattlesnakes, scorpions, and stinging insects.

Mesquite sand dunes is one of the easiest and most famous attractions in Death Valley, with the tallest dune being 170 feet. It gets cold there during the winter months, so take a jacket with you. If you've got time and enough love for the dunes you can keep hiking all day there. Enjoy the backdrop of Tucki mountain and Mosaic Canyon which is also a very famous attraction, but very different from Mesquite Sand Dunes.
