Detailed directions : Park your car and look for the trailhead at one end of the parking lot. The trail goes parallel to Brown Mountain Truck Trail. Few minutes from the trailhead you will see the Milard Campground sign.

Stay on the trail as shown in the picture to go to Millard Falls.

At this point make a right and continue on the trail. There is no trail on the left after few feet.

Cross these logs and continue hiking. At this point you are more than half way through.

You will reach the waterfall at about 0.6 miles from the trailhead. Even though it is just a 1.2 mile roundtrip it feels like a 2 mile hike due to the stream crossings and boulder hopping. But there is a lot of shade and the waterfall has a decent amount of water.

This waterfall offers the best rewards for the effort in this region.
